The Axial Slab redefines the console table with a brutalist-minimal silhouette, presenting as a long, monolithic block that appears to float effortlessly. Its elongated form, meticulously crafted from brushed stainless steel, is distinguished by softly rounded vertical edges and corners (3-5 cm radius) that lend a refined yet powerful presence. A single, robust central pedestal, subtly concealed, underpins the entire structure, creating a striking illusion of suspension. The top surface integrates two smaller square receptacles, seamlessly formed from the steel, flanking a larger central trough designed to house a precisely fitted, removable honed volcanic stone tray, sitting flush for a stark material contrast.
Each Axial Slab is a testament to W Chaput Studio's precision engineering. The main body is forged from a single sheet of 3mm thick 316L brushed stainless steel, expertly bent and invisibly welded to achieve its seamless, substantial form. The supporting pedestal, crafted from even thicker 8mm 316L stainless steel, ensures unwavering stability while maintaining the design's ethereal quality. The interplay between the cool, brushed metal and the deep, matte texture of the volcanic stone epitomizes a sophisticated brutalism.

La Axial Slab redefine la mesa consola con una silueta brutalista-minimalista, presentándose como un bloque monolítico y alargado que parece flotar sin esfuerzo. Su forma extendida, meticulosamente elaborada en acero inoxidable cepillado, se distingue por bordes y esquinas verticales suavemente redondeadas (radio de 3-5 cm) que le otorgan una presencia refinada pero poderosa. Un único y robusto pedestal central, sutilmente oculto, sostiene toda la estructura, creando una sorprendente ilusión de suspensión. La superficie superior integra dos pequeños receptáculos cuadrados, formados sin costuras en el acero, flanqueando una ranura central más grande diseñada para albergar una bandeja de piedra volcánica pulida y extraíble, que queda a ras para un marcado contraste material.
Cada Axial Slab es un testimonio de la ingeniería de precisión de W Chaput Studio. El cuerpo principal se forja a partir de una única lámina de acero inoxidable 316L cepillado de 3 mm de espesor, doblada por expertos y soldada de forma invisible para lograr su forma perfecta y sustancial. El pedestal de soporte, elaborado con acero inoxidable 316L cepillado aún más grueso, de 8 mm, asegura una estabilidad inquebrantable mientras mantiene la cualidad etérea del diseño. La interacción entre el metal frío y cepillado y la textura profunda y mate de la piedra volcánica encarna un brutalismo sofisticado.
